Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
(1 Corinthians 6:9 NASB)

nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
(1 Corinthians 6:10 NASB)

Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
(1 Corinthians 6:11 NASB)

All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
(1 Corinthians 6:12 NASB)

Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.
(1 Corinthians 6:13 NASB)

Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.
(1 Corinthians 6:14 NASB)

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!
(1 Corinthians 6:15 NASB)

Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.”
(1 Corinthians 6:16 NASB)

But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
(1 Corinthians 6:17 NASB)

Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.
(1 Corinthians 6:18 NASB)

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
(1 Corinthians 6:19 NASB)

For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
(1 Corinthians 6:20 NASB)

The Apostle Paul write down some very important sin issues, and he called it as it is...sin...these are things that we commit with our bodies. Some people think they can do whatever they want to do with their bodies because the body will die and it won't affect their spirit. Paul pointed out important reason of why we should not be involved in all these act...let's see what he said...He categorized these as UNRIGHTEOUS ACT...most of these sins are SEXUAL sins in nature...FORNICATORS, IDOLATERS, ADULTERERS, EFFEMINATE...(TRANSVESTITES) MAN WHO SHOWS CHARACTERISTIC OF A WOMAN, UNMANLY...HOMOSEXUALS, THIEVES, COVETOUSNESS, DRUNKARDS, REVILERS, AND SWINDLERS. In these days and age, most of these that the Bible call sin, world governments are now regulating it as a law, and give license to people to be protected and to live it as their rights.... Paul makes it very clear what we should do when we are facing with these issues in our own lives... Though all the other sins are things that we commit outside of our bodies...SEXUAL SINS ARE NOT...they are done in the body with the body and it has devastated consequences...your body remembers what you have don with it...it stays, it connects emotionally, it stays in our memories, it damaged psychologically, Paul gave amazing reasons why... a) WE ARE THE BODY AND THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT... b) WE DO NOT OWN OURSELVES ANYMORE c) WE WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE... d) OUR BODY IS TO GLORIFY GOD AND NOT OUR PLEASURE e) FLEE IMMORALITY...

Paul continues that...ALL THINGS ARE LAWFUL FOR ME...they are available to me and for me...I can choose to do whatever I want to do with all these freedom...But I am no longer my own...and plus... he said, though they are "AVAILABLE FOR ME AND I HAVE A FREEDOM TO DO THIS, THEY ARE NOT, THEY ARE NOT, PROFITABLE FOR ME, NOR WILL I BE MASTERED BY ANY OF IT... I think sometimes people who are walking with Christ have not seen how serious God is with this areas of our life...Paul says, It is not PROFITABLE, nor should it be a MASTER in our lives...I want to thank Paul for reminding me the purpose of my body, and who I am...and not being identify with my the sins that is trying to Master my body...but IDENTIFY MYSELF WITH THE PURPOSE OF THE ONE WHO OWNS ME, MY MASTER JESUS CHRIST...I will do this...thank you Lord...help me live it out in my life...Amen!
